2026-2027 School Calendar Discussion
Included in your packet are three academic calendar options for the 2026-2027 school year. These options include:
The Asynchronous option follows the same structure as previous years, with the start of the school year on Friday, August 7th, and ending on Thursday, May 27th.
The Synchronous option #1 follows a similar structure as previous years, except for the asynchronous e-learning days and the ending of the school year. Instead of asynchronous e-learning days, students would participate in synchronous e-learning with their teachers, meaning they would have live virtual classes throughout the day from home. This would lead to the end of the school year taking place on Tuesday, May 25th.
The Synchronous option #2 follows Synchronous option #1, but with a change in start and end dates for the school year. Students would begin the school year on Wednesday, August 5th, and end on Friday, May 21st. This would give the possibility of hosting graduation on Memorial Day weekend.
The TCSC administration recommends Synchronous Option #1 as the academic calendar for the 2026-2027 school year.
