TCSC School Board Work Session

The work session was called to order by Jennifer Humrichous at 6:00 p.m.

Dr. Glazed noted that tonight's meeting will be in two parts due to the requirement to hold a Board of Finance meeting.  There was no discussion regarding the agenda.

Laura Sottong asked about students using Tik Tok in light of the ban instituted on State-owned devices. Dr. Glaze noted that students cannot access Tik Tok on school computers.  She also asked about whether the public will have access to the policies coming up for review at the February meeting.  Dr. Glaze noted that policies will be presented as a first reading to make sure that the board understands proposed changes and make any necessary changes before second reading and approval at the March meeting.
