Facilities & Technology Committee

Sling Studio was used to record the meeting of May 14 (TCSC Board Meeting, 2019.05.14).  Steven attended the meeting to show the equipment and how it is used. He gives it high marks for its ease of use and the quality of the equipment. With that, it would be very portable and could have a variety of uses within the school corporation.  Meetings can be streamed (live or recorded) through YouTube, so there would not be a streaming fee.  CDW has given us a quote for the equipment (with three cameras) of $3800.  There would be some additional equipment to purchase (tripods for cameras, microphones, etc).  The committee recommends to proceed with this equipment.  Steven will get with CDW and get some optional quotes (4 cameras, micrpohones).

• Playground - Has been completed
• Weight Room -  The drawings went out to contractors this past Friday (5/10) and  we are wanting to schedule a contractor walk through next Wednesday May 22nd at 9am. Bids will be due May 27th and if everything is within budget anticipated start is June 6th.
• Auditorium (exterior) - Quote has been received
• Auditorium (interior) - The interior work has not been quoted and will work with the contractors bidding the weight room. 
• Elementary Entrance
  • Facade - Need to finalize with stucco type finish to match the other borders
  • Security Entrance - Look to get ideas and costs for renovating the elementary entrance to make it more secure.

The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 16 at 5:30 PM.
