With the approval of the TMS Intro to Ag, we have received some pushback from the TEA.  While I contend that it is a new course and we have not created a new position, the TEA is saying that since we do not have an "Ag Dept" it does create a new position and should be posted.

Some general perceptions about the "entitled attitude some have - in case you hear things in the community...

I have been advocating the same expectations we have for students as we have heard from area employers - show up to work, show up on time, and do your job.  Some people (just a few)  have the attitude that they can come and go as they please without checking in with their supervisor. I'm trying to clamp down on that and I am getting some pushback.

We have been working to update the job descriptions.  We reviewed them last spring with the administration and individuals in those positions.  We are now cleaning up the formatting for consistency.  We will get them posted the first of the year.
