ISBA Region V Meeting - November 12
ISBA has announced its dates for their fall regional meetings. For us in Region 5, the meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 12, at the Bel Aire Events in Kokomo. Registration is at 5:30, dinner at 6:00, and the program begins at 6:45. Mr. Terry Spradlin, ISBA Executive Director, will be presenting the 2019 ISBA Legislative Priorities and Foundational Statements. In addition, he will be discussing the new Legislative Action Network grassroots advocacy program and discussing upcoming programs and events. Lisa Tanselle, ISBA General Counsel, will also provide school law updates.
This date is in conflict with a scheduled Community Input Meeting. It is proposed that the community meeting be moved up to November 5. Both Dr. Nellis and Mr. Eccles are available on that date but not on Nov 19. Board confirmed that we would move the community input meeting to Nov 5 so they board can attend the ISBA Region V Meeting.

Review Board Agenda
There are two overnight field trips to consider: FFA to SOAR Camp, and the YO's Trip that are part of the Consent Agenda.

- December 17 - Personnel
The Personnel Committee will also meet on October 16. The Facilities Committee will meet on October 24.
