Our 2026 Budget Appropriations were set as follows:

Education Fund - 1782 Notice Budget Amount:
$11,768,025 plus PO carryovers of $128,404.23 = 2026 appropriation report of $11,896,429.23

Operations Fund - 1782 Notice Budget Amount:
$5,210,010 plus PO carryovers of $92,963.17 = 2026 appropriation report of $5,302,973.17

Debt Service Fund - 1782 Notice Budget Amount:
$3,727,870

Rainy Day Fund – 1782 Notice Budget Amount:
$250,000

January was a 3-pay month. We ended January with $776,874.69 in the education fund, $532,748.57 in debt service, $818,588.45 in operations, and $2,035,833.41 in the rainy day fund.  A transfer of $100,000 was made from education to operations. Interest earnings totaled $20,511.24.

10.1 Approval to Advertise for Mowing Bids
Robert Cochrane, Board President

Permission is being asked to advertise for Mowing bids. This would be done in time for the 2026 mowing season and would be a two-year (2) contract. Bids would be approved at the March Board meeting.

It is recommended that the Board give permission to advertise for Mowing Bids for the 2026 and 2027 mowing seasons.


10.2 Cancellation of Stale Checks

According to IC 5-11-10.5-2, all warrants or checks, outstanding and unpaid for a period of two or more years as of December 31 of each year, shall be declared void. The list of checks in your Board packet will be cancelled upon approval.
