Last month, the Board of Trustees approved the advertisement of a public hearing for additional appropriations of $325,000 from the Rainy Day Fund and $88,380 from the Operation Fund. The required Notice to Taxpayers was advertised in the Kokomo Tribune on 2/21/24 which meets the 10 day publication requirement prior to the public hearing. At this time the board will delay the public hearing on the additional appropriation from the Rainy Day Fund, but proceed with the public hearing for the additional appropriation from the operation fund.
